About Yellow Fever

Yellow fever is a viral infection transmitted by the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, a species which is prevalent in Central and South America and Sub-Saharan Africa. Yellow fever can cause high temperatures, headaches, increased photosensitivity and a loss of appetite. More severe cases of yellow fever may also result in bleeding from the eyes, mouth, nose and ears and eventual organ failure. There is a high likelihood of death from serious infection.

If you plan to travel abroad this year, you may need to be vaccinated against yellow fever. Visit our Dorset clinic today, or contact us to find out more. We offer competitive pricing. Unsure? Why not attend a free consultation?
